Bryland Clothing(March 29, 2014) Bryland, a new clothing line inspired by Harbour Island, showcased their innagural collection at The New Look Art Show for artist Harif Guzman yesterday.

The art show featured an array of designers, with Bryland the featured menswear line. The event was hosted by Jay Jay Percentie at the Almond Tree.

Wynn Laffey, who has been coming to Harbour Island his entire life, created Bryland partially as a tribute to his family’s 65-year connection to the island. Bryland is also a celebration of color, fine quality and thoughtful designs.  Wynn says that each of Bryland’s products are designed with subtle, utilitarian features and made with the utmost attention to detail.

Wynn has partnered with long-time friends, Nic Chatfield, Jay Jay and Adell Percentie to make the Bryland vision a reality.

Bryland was launched on the island December 2013 and is holding its first trunk show this week at Jay Jay’s new venue, Humphrey’s located on the corner of Murray and King Streets in the center of Dunmore Town.

They invite you to stop by and check out Bryland at The New Look Art Show or over at Humphrey’s. You can also learn more about Bryland on their website, www.bryland.co.
